Site Inspector Engineer 

 

AXON Engineering is seeking an Experienced Building Site Inspector to record, review, assess, evaluate and report on new construction and renovation projects on behalf of AXON.

 

General Duties Include:

• Reviewing Drawings (AutoCAD)

• Monitoring construction progress

• Examining Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems

• Confirming fire safety systems are in place,

• Collecting accurate measurements with measurement tools

• Verifying completed work, taking photographs and maintaining a log and/or reports.

• Meet with Clients and Inspectors

• Participate and Lead Discussions for Site Meetings

 

Experience and Education:

• Mandatory Ten or more (10+) years of Construction and/or Engineering experience.

• Mandatory knowledge and experience with Provincial BUILDING and FIRE CODE standards.

• College Level - Engineer Technologist and Engineer Technicians with ten or more (10+) years’ experience PREFERRED.

• University Level - A Bachelor's degree program in Architecture or Engineering PREFERRED.

• Relevant coursework including drafting, mathematics and construction technology.

• Strong written and oral communication.
